As I handle the obsidian, a conchoidal fracture spontaneously happens. The new surface resulting from the fracture is magnificent. The characteristic waves of the obsidian are perfect and polished and as I am immersed in its beauty, I instantly realize the danger. The waves end in perfect cutting edges. I cannot stop noticing how fresh the new surface looks.
